Three sharpening machines on demonstration: APE 40 UP and MAC 26
For BI-MU 2026, we will bring three machines configured to demonstrate different sharpening possibilities and meet the needs of mechanical workshops and manufacturing companies.
APE 40 UP: versatility in manual sharpening
The APE 40 UP universal sharpening machine will be at the stand to demonstrate the possibilities offered by a professional manual solution designed for sharpening twist drills and cutting tools.
A machine that combines operational versatility and precision, allowing different sharpening geometries to be processed.
During the event, you will be able to see the machine in operation and speak directly with our technicians about its possible applications in everyday production.
MAC 26: two CNC configurations for drills and milling cutters
CNC technology will take centre stage with two MAC 26 sharpening machines. Both will be in operation during the event, but equipped with different grinding wheels:
- MAC 26 for drill sharpening: configured with specific grinding wheels to demonstrate machining operations dedicated to drills.
- MAC 26 for milling cutter sharpening: equipped with suitable grinding wheels to demonstrate the possibilities for sharpening milling cutters.
This dual configuration will allow visitors to explore the applications of the MAC 26 and directly observe the different machining processes.
You will also be able to follow the procedures through the control software and see how the sharpening parameters are set and controlled.
